Volunteer Guides Sought for Innovative Program
Historic Cherry Hill, an Albany house museum, is offering an opportunity for volunteers to interpret its extensive and well-documented family collections. The museum is a nationally recognized institution dedicated to education, research and preservation.
Guides - lead tours/discussions for adult and family groups on weekdays and/or weekends. Historic Cherry Hill ‘s tour, "The Rankins of Cherry Hill: Struggling with the Loss of Their World," has received national recognition from historians and museum professionals. (Interviewing for position August - early December 2003)
Training begins in early 2004. After the training period, time commitment for a Guide is six hours per month.
