Step into the 1700s at Hudson River Family Day! published May 24, 2017

Hudson River Family Day will be presented on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 1-4 pm at Historic Cherry Hill. Participants are invited to step into the 1700s and experience Hudson River sloop trade and daily life. The afternoon will feature hands-on activities with historical re-enactors, a 34-foot game board, crafts, old fashioned games, ice cream, 18th century dress up, house tours, and a display of rare merchant artifacts.  The event highlights grade school student participation in the Hudson River Trading Game and Navigating the Seas, a joint program with the Albany Visitors Center.  Admission and parking are free.  Contact: Shawna Reilly, shawna@historiccherryhill.org, 434-4791.
