A Sad Loss – Historic Cherry Hill Volunteer Margaret Eighmey published August 15, 2019

Margaret Eighmey

Our sad news is that the Cherry Hill community recently lost a dear member. Margaret E. Eighmey passed away on July 28, 2019 at the age of 91.  She is survived by two nieces, a great-niece and a great-nephew.  Margaret had a long career in public relations, both in the public and private sectors.  She was also a volunteer at the Albany Institute of History and Art and the Albany Visitors’ Bureau.

We will remember Margaret best as the consummate Historic Cherry Hill volunteer – articulate, fascinated by history, and able to convey a story in a compelling and often humorous way.   With her fierce intelligence and razor sharp wit, Margaret was a delight to be around as a friend and volunteer.  Her loss will be felt deeply and her dedication to Cherry Hill will not be forgotten.

Margaret’s family suggested that friends who wish to remember Margaret in a special way may donate to Historic Cherry Hill.  We are grateful for the honor. https://www.historiccherryhill.org/donate/
