Books and Blooms!: The RED Bookshelf Comes to Historic Cherry Hill on Saturday June 26, 12-1pm published June 23, 2021

Summer has sprung in the South End! But the bees, butterflies and bugs, who pollinate our gardens and keep our environment healthy need our help…

Join us on Saturday June 26, 2021 at 12pm for this fun, free, outdoor event, presented by the RED Bookshelf!

Activities include a pollinators scavenger hunt of HCH’s gardens and grounds; a spirited reading of a summer time story book with Crystal De Bouse, author of “Kaya’s Magical Unicorn Slime Experiment!”; and a surprise hands-on activity that will help you provide and protect the pollinators in your own backyard!

All participants who attend Books and Blooms will receive a FREE copy of a book of their own and a tool to help the pollinators in your own neighborhood thrive!

This event is free, but reservations via Eventbrite are encouraged in order to maintain social distance guidelines and to be sure we have enough materials for everyone.

Books and writer support provided by the RED Bookshelf and MVP Health Care. Marketing support provided by Discover Albany.
