Restoration Update! published September 27, 2019

Historic Cherry Hill is excited to share the news that the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has approved the final stage of our historic restoration project. The Legal Notice to Bidders is now listed on the NYS Contract Reporter website, with a walk-through scheduled for next Tuesday, October 1. Sealed bids are due October 22, 2019, and we hope to announce awards and schedule work to commence soon after. Reopening is on the horizon!

This accomplishment would not be possible without the continued support of our community and representatives. The estimated $475,000 project is sponsored in part by a grant from the Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) and Community Capital Assistance Program (CCAP), and a bridge loan from the Preservation League of New York’s Endangered Properties Intervention Program.
