Actor, educator, and historian, Donald Hyman, will perform his original biographical monologue portraying the life of Adam Blake Jr., 19th-century African American proprietor of the Kenmore Hotel–live at the recently restored Albany landmark!

You can also look forward to posts on local history, more performances by Donald Hyman portraying African American figures from Albany’s past, and interviews with African Americans who are making history in Albany today.
